Woke MSNBC Host Joy Behar Makes Astoundingly Absurd Abortion Argument [WATCH]

One of the character flaws that tend to afflict many Hollywood celebrities is an utter lack of self-awareness, and Joy Behar of ABC’s The View gave us a perfect example on Tuesday.

Reacting to the leaked document from the Supreme Court indicating that the landmark Roe V. Wade case enshrining a woman’s right to abortion is about to be overturned, Behar stated the following:

“Women in the world have conducted sex strikes in history. In 2003, a sex strike helped to end Liberia’s brutal civil war. The woman who started it was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. In Kenya, they forced a sex ban until fighting ceased. In one week, there was a stable government. We have more power than we think we have, and some of it could be right in the bedroom, just saying.”

There are so many jokes and jabs we could make right now; the possibilities are endless, and Behar should have known better. The mere idea of anyone taking advice from Joy Behar on anything remotely related to sexual activity is enough to make one chuckle… or perhaps retch. But we’ll save the cheap shots for now and allow each of you to come up with your own one-liners. In fact, feel free to post this article on social media with your own witty setup.

While Behar and her comrades on the show may be seriously lacking in IQ points, they’re seldom at a loss for words, usually inane words. And these comments from co-host Whoopie Goldberg were almost as absurd as Behar’s:

“If you can get fifty years of law and toss it, you can toss away our right to vote… I don’t want somebody threatening the fact that I wasn’t part of the Constitution. And they say, ‘Well, we’re going to make you less of an American.’ I want us all to have the same rights.”

While these reactions show the complete stupidity of Behar, Goldberg, and the rest, they also provide a compelling and disturbing insight into the mindset of the left:

– Overturning Roe V Wade will simply put abortion legislation back into the hands of the states, meaning if people vote accordingly, the abortion laws they desire will follow. But the left and their cheerleaders like the buffoons on The View know that public opinion is shifting against abortion. They don’t want Democracy, they’re terrified of Democracy.

– Clowns like Goldberg and Behar are so desperate to whip up emotions in their base, that they’ll resort to any lie necessary, including the suggestion that voting rights could be taken away. Where in heaven’s name did that come from?

– Once again with the abortion debate, leftists like these can never dare to approach the issue from a logical standpoint and discuss the only question which matters which is this: Is a fetus a human life or not? And why don’t they go there? Because if they do their argument falls apart in the light of science, something they claim to cherish.

– And these women are so hellbent on preserving a woman’s right to kill her child, they will resort to just about anything.

Many Democrats have floated the idea that overturning Roe V Wade will dramatically help them in the midterm elections this year, but as usual, that notion is wishful thinking. And these reactions are Exhibit A for that assertion. Pro-Abortion Democrats are scared silly about the direction politics and public opinion are going in this country, and they’re becoming unhinged as a result.
