New House Dems Ready Envision ‘Police Free Society;’ Here’s What They Plan To Get Rid Of Next

Well, the midterm elections have come and gone, and Democrats have lost control of the House of Representatives, however, they did gain a few new folks, and as it turns out, their views might actually be further to the left than other members of the party who came before them. Terrifying thought, right? How can these individuals possibly be farther to the left than say, oh, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez or Sen. Bernie Sanders?

Easy.

By envisioning a “police free society” and abolishing all prisons. I mean, come on, people. Get with the program. What could possibly go wrong by allowing a bunch of violent criminals out on the streets where there are no police to prevent them from indulging in their old behavior?

According to Fox News, “Rep.-elect Summer Lee, D- Pa., a progressive Democrat, is taking over the district of longtime Democratic Rep. Mike Doyle in Washington. Lee is a Democratic socialist backed by Sens. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., whose political path is mirroring that of far-left Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y. She has openly endorsed several socialist policies — including the redistribution of wealth — as well as controversial progressive policies like abolishing prisons.”

“Instead of ‘thanking’ Black women, Black voters, and especially, Black organizers… give us the investments we need and deserve, redistribute wealth, ends police violence, abolish the carceral state, commit to building Black directed political power… and reparations,” Lee posted in a tweet dated November 2020.

The state of Florida, which gushed red this past election, still gained one young progressive, Rep.-elect Maxwell Frost, who gave his endorsement to the anti-cop and anti-prison group known as Dream Defenders, in 2020.

His endorsement of the organization included a call “for a prison [and] police free society.”

These people do not live in the real world. If they did, there’s no way they would endorse this kind of nonsense. Prisons are an unfortunate necessity. People are imperfect, as the Bible teaches, we are a fallen race of beings. As such, some folks are just bent on being bad. No matter what you try to do for them, they will still carry out evil, vile acts against their fellow man.

Prisons exist in order to have a place to remove such individuals from society. It would be great if this wasn’t necessary, but it is. Reality says so whether you like it or not. To get rid of these institutions would mean chaos and violence would spike and people would no longer feel safe in their own communities. A culture cannot function, let alone thrive, under such conditions.

Yes, our system needs to be tweaked and changes made. However, you cannot realistically ban prisons and police. It just won’t work.

Frost received ringing endorsements from both Sanders and Warren, along with several other progressive organizations and legislators. The Democratic Party has witnessed an increase of socialist and progressive membership as they continue to swing wildly out toward the left.

Texas will see a progressive Democrat headed to Washington next Congress, with Rep.-elect Greg Casar — a self-described democratic socialist who was endorsed by the ‘Squad’ leader herself — taking a seat to represent parts of Austin and San Antonio. The progressive gains will serve Ocasio-Cortez and her fellow ‘Squad’ members well, as it gives them more leverage in getting their priorities at the front of the party,” Fox reported.
