YIKES: Woke Pentagon “Equity Chief” Complains about “white nonsense,” Praises Book Calling 9/11 First Responders “Menaces”

At a time when the world is looking more dangerous than ever and it’s very possible that the Biden Administration could call on a whole generation of American men to start fighting a war against China, Russia, Iran, or some combination thereof, what seems like the worst possible idea?

“Denigrating those who gave or risked their lives” and “stoking the flames of racial division” would be reasonable responses, particularly if applied to personnel within the military apparatus, the very apparatus that would be called upon to fight that war or combination of wars.

But, of course, this is Team Biden. “The adults are back in charge” and so the worst possible decisions are being made. This time that means that the “Equity Chief” the US has sent to the Pentagon is recorded as praising a book,  Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates, in which the author refers to those firefighters who rushed into the flaming towers on 9/11 as “menaces”.

In the book, Coates, referring to the 9/11 first responders that so selflessly rushed into the towers, says “They were not human to me. Black, white, or whatever, they were menaces of nature; they were the fire, the comet, the storm, which could — with no justification — shatter my body.

Such is what Fox News Digital reported in a shocking article, reporting that:

A self-described “woke” Pentagon equity chief, who is currently under probe over anti-White tweets uncovered by Fox News Digital, recommended a “social justice” book for classrooms which called 9/11 first responders “menaces.”

Kelisa Wing is a diversity, equity and inclusion chief at the Pentagon’s education wing – the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA). She is involved in curriculum at DoDEA, which services over 60,000 military-connected children at 160 schools around the globe, according to a press release announcing her position in December 2021.

Fox News Digital found that on two occasions DoDEA’s diversity, equity and inclusion chief promoted the anti-police book “Between the World and Me” by Ta-Nehisi Coates while representing herself as an employee of the Pentagon’s education wing.

[…]On another occasion, in 2021, Wing included “Between the World and Me” in a DoDEA Equity Summit presentation. The video of the session was captured by OpenTheBooks, a nonprofit organization dedicated to government transparency.

The Fox News Digital article goes on to quote some of the horrific, anti-white things Wing said on Twitter, reporting that:

Wing is currently under probe for tweets which referred to White people as “Karen[s]” and said she was “exhausted with these white folx in these [professional development] sessions.” The matter will be taken to the Under Secretary of Personnel and Readiness – Gil Cisneros – for a final decision 30 days after the initial review, which started on September 19, the Pentagon told Fox News.

Wing’s Twitter said, “… this lady actually had the CAUdacity to say that black people can be racist too… I had to stop the session and give Karen the BUSINESS…we are not the majority, we don’t have power.”

[…]On another occasion, Wing responded to a user who said, “I am exhausted by 99% of the white men in education and 95% of the white women. Where can I get a break from white nonsense for a while?”

Wing responded, “If another Karen tells me about her feelings… I might lose it…”

So when you wonder what’s going on in the US military and why it can’t seem to win a war, why the best in it are leaving as the worst in it seem to have the run of the place, just look at who is being promoted by the woke generals running it: the likes of Kelisa Wing, who denigrates those who sacrifice for their country while complaining about white people. No wonder we lost to the Taliban and the military can’t meet its recruiting goals.
