Remember the recent article on Sharon Osbourne? She was the one who blew up on both Joy Behar and Don Lemon in a recent interview with Fox News Channel, exposing Behar as (unsurprisingly) incredibly rude and Lemon as a snake that did his best to make her look bad.
Well now Sharon Osbourne, former talk show host and the wife of rock star Ozzy Osbourne, has ripped into Black Lives Matter too, saying she wants a refund after donating nearly a million dollars to an organization she’s now calling a scam.
The background is that TMZ recently interviewed Osbourne about the controversy surrounding Kanye West and his appearance in a “White Lives Matter” shirt, at which point he called BLM a scam, saying “Everyone knows that Black Lives Matter was a scam now it’s over you’re welcome” on Instagram.
Well, TMZ asked Osbourne what she thought of the situation and, though she wasn’t that into the “White Lives Matter” shirt, she sounded off on BLM, agreeing with Kanye that it’s a scam. As TMZ reported:
While Sharon admits she’s not completely up to speed on all the intricacies of the debate around Kanye’s fashion statement, she does have a strong opinion on BLM.
Sharon perked right up when we told her Kanye ripped BLM for being “a scam.”
Ozzy’s wife says the couple gave $900,000 to BLM — presumably in 2020 — and told us she would like her money back and wishes Kanye spoke out before they cut the check.
Sharon says Kanye shouldn’t be canceled over the “White Lives Matter” shirt … telling folks to simply ignore Ye if they don’t like what he’s doing.
Commenting on the White Lives Matter shirt, she said “I don’t understand why white lives don’t matter. I don’t understand it. It’s not my culture,” she said. “Everybody matters, don’t they?”
And, on the BLM donation and wanting it back, what she said was “Well, we gave $900,000 to [Black Lives Matter], and I’d like my money back, please.”
Kanye also discussed his support of Trump and wearing the “White Lives Matter” shirt when speaking with Tucker Carlson in a recent interview, saying:
“My so-called friends/handlers around me told me if I said that I liked Trump that my career would be over. That my life would be over. They said stuff like people get killed for wearing a hat like that. They threatened my life. They basically said that I would be killed for wearing the hat. I had someone call me last night and said anybody wearing a ‘white lives matter’ shirt is going to be green-lit. That means they are going to beat them up if I wear it. I’m like, you know, ‘Okay, green light me then.’”
During the same interview, Kanye ripped into the abortion regime and defended his pro-life stance when asked by Tucker about it, saying:
“I don’t care about people’s responses, I care about the fact that there’s more black babies being aborted than born in New York City at this point. That 50 percent of black death in America is abortion. So I really don’t care about people’s responses, I perform for an audience of one, and that’s God.”
