WOW: NY Yankee Aaron Judge Shares the Bible Verse Shaping His Stunning Season and Crazy Career, Story of His Adoption

With 27 games left to go in the regular season, Aaron Judge is well on pace to hit a whopping 65 home runs. Once you exclude people with “big heads” (that were on steroids), that would not only be an American League record, but also a Major League record. Barry Bonds managed 73 homers, but he was juiced up on steroids, so many argue his record shouldn’t count.

Either way, Judge has had an incredible season, one that will be surely remembered among the greats of baseball history.

But he’s not just a great hitter set to make records without getting roided up. Judge is also known for being a good guy and strong Christian, one that’s willing to use the platform afforded him by his incredible skill to advance the cause of Christ.

And that’s something he did recently in an interview with the Daily Citizen, saying that 2 Corinthians 5:7 is his favorite Bible verse and is one that has guided both his life and baseball career. That verse reads “For we walk by faith, not by sight.

Speaking on the verse and how it has guided him, Judge said:

“It’s one of my favorite Bible verses. [I] try to live my life by it, and always trust the Man above and what He’s got in store for us. We never know what’s around the corner, but if we have faith in Him, He will lead us in the right direction.”

He was also adopted and has spoken on that, something that those who push abortion would do well to think on. What if that baby would have turned out to be a good man and incredible athlete like Aaron Judge, but never will thanks to the abortion procedure? Noting Judge’s childhood background, the Daily Citizen notes that:

Born and raised in the small town of Linden, Calif., Aaron’s parents, Wayne and Patty, adopted him at birth. His older biological brother, John, was adopted at the same time.

“I feel they kind of picked me,” Judge told a reporter. “I feel that God was the one that matched us together.”

Baseball fans will be watching Aaron Judge closely as he tries to surpass the near-mythical Maris mark of 61 home runs, all the while helping pull his struggling Yankees across the finish line. But it’s unlikely any of this would be happening if not for a brave birthmother who carried Aaron to term – and then loving parents who poured their hearts and lives into their talented son.

There are great men out there, even in the realm of professional sports where degeneracy and law-breaking, not to mention the pushing of progressive politics on every issue from abortion to LGBTQ+ issues, seems the norm.

Judge would appear to be one such person, a guy who lets faith rather than the “current thing” guide him through life and make his way in a competitive, high-stress career. And how he’s performing incredibly well, blowing away the competition and setting some amazing records while praising God.
