LOL: AOC Gets Mercilessly Mocked after Claiming that Abortion is “Part of the Class Struggle” [VIDEO]

AOC recently released an utterly absurd video in which she claimed that abortion is “part of the class struggle”, arguing that pro-lifers are on the side of the corporations because they want a large workforce. Watch that here:

As you can hear in the video, AOC said:

I think it’s important to state that abortion is an economic issue. Forcing poor and working-class people to give birth against their will, against their consent, against their ability to provide for themselves or a child is a profound economic issue.

“And it’s certainly a way to keep a workforce basically conscripted to large-scale employers and to employers to be — to work more against their will, to take second and third jobs against their desire and their own autonomy.

“The idea that abortion and access to abortion is somehow not a profound and central part of the economic and class issue and class struggle is certainly something I think a person who has never had to contend with the ability to carry a child, it belies that perspective.”

She’s apparently ignoring that most of America’s big companies have offered to pay for their employees to travel to blue states to get an abortion if the red state they are in has tried to limit abortions following the Dobbs ruling…companies want to save money by not paying for maternity leave, and that “large workforce” is why so many Conservative, Inc. Republicans go on and on about “family values not stopping at the southern border” and America needing “more legal immigrants.”

In any case, Twitter took AOC to task for the video, ridiculing her claims.

One, for example, blasted the class warfare angle of AOC’s nonsense and shared a video of what it claimed was a Chinese government official’s private jet, saying:

Class struggle is real in China. Almost all billionaires and millionaires are CCP members and big part of them are government officials. This man’s dad is a high-rank Chinese government official

Another pointed out that companies are paying for abortions not adoptions, saying “AOC might want to ask why corporations pay for abortions but not for adoption.” Commenting on that point, another said “AOC might want to ask why corporations pay for abortions but not paid family leave post-birth. Or for that matter, subsidized health insurance

Similarly, conservative commentator Jack Posobiec pointed out that the exact opposite of what she was arguing is really true, saying “She is so close to getting it right except it’s the exact opposite“.

Another pointed out the absurdity in arguing that those who generally want people to stay home and raise their kids rather than working in a cubicle are corporate shills, saying “Pro lifers are such corporate stooges that the men want their women to stay home and raise their kids instead of being in the work force effectively cutting the labor force in half. Lmao. Lol.

Perhaps best of all was a long comment explaining the “why” behind AOC’s lunacy and absurd argument, saying:

Young people, especially elite college educated ones like AOC, have no ability to truly understand economics or the history of capitalism because they have been conscripted into the confusing & irrational marxist or postmodernism idealism being pushed today. They are different philosophies but many of the concepts have been meshed. Everything, even abortion, is viewed as a struggle between the proletariat and the bourgeoisie. Everything is negative & hopeless as long as capitalism exists. Failures of past experiments w communism/socialism are dismissed as either the sabotage by the bourgeoisie or unscrupulous leaders…but never the economic philosophy. Until you’ve lived thru losing your country to these irrational ideas as I did, you cannot conceive why they don’t work.

Then there was this gif, which probably sums up how most conservatives feel when reading or listening to anything AOC has said:
