This past week, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis made headlines by shipping 50 illegal immigrants from Florida to Martha’s Vineyard via airplane, with the two planeloads of illegals landing and then quickly being escorted away from the playground of the liberal elite. And where were those illegal immigrants from? Venezuela.
But those are the only Venezuelan illegal immigrants in the news right now. Some others coming up from Venezuela are too, though for a completely different reason than Governor DeSantis’ trolling of the hypocritical left that so loves the idea of illegal immigrants until those illegals arrive and “enrich” their upscale neighborhoods.
No, these other illegal immigrants from Venezuela are in the news thanks to their alleged criminality and the Venezuelan regime’s alleged involvement in getting them across the border.
Yes, that’s right: the already detestable Maduro regime is now involved in shipping its criminal elements to the United States, getting them here illegally so that Venezuela is no longer “enriched” by their presence and we are.
News on that comes from Breitbart, which recently released a breathtaking report alleging that the Maduro regime and its operatives are involved in sending Venezuelan convicts to the border so that they can cross over into the United States.
The Breitbart report does not provide specifics on the process or how the Venezuelans are helping ship their convicts across the border. It does, however, quote an anonymous Customs and Border Protection official who has seen the Department of Homeland Security report on the matter, a report that Border Patrol received.
According to the anonymous CBP source, the DHS memo “instructs agents to look for Venezuelan inmates released from entering the U.S.” And those inmates are “critics of the regime,” or whatever else the tenderhearted libs will claim while attempting to keep them here.
Rather, again according to the CBP source, they’re pretty much what Trump described illegal immigrants as in that famous speech: rapists, murderers, nasty people. They’re the violent criminals making that socialist hellhole even more of a hell on Earth for its residents. And now they’re crossing the border and entering the US.
The source, commenting to Breitbart on the matter and what happens to the criminals, said:
“Unless we apprehend someone who voluntarily tells us they have committed a violent crime in Venezuela, we can only guess and that doesn’t work well. They will more than likely be released.”
Adding to that, the source compared what the Maduro regime is up to to the Castro regime’s sending thousands of its criminals to illegally cross into America in the 80s, saying
“The intelligence report warns agents the freed prisoners have been seen within migrant caravans traveling from Tapachula, Mexico toward the U.S.-Mexico border as recently as July.
“The source, not authorized to speak to the media, told Breitbart Texas the move is reminiscent of a similar action taken by Cuban dictator Fidel Castro during the Mariel boat lift in the 1980s.”
So will there be a Venezuelan Tony Montana? Time will tell, but if there is one inbound, it doesn’t seem like Team Biden will stop him from making it here.
