Imagine the outrage if: A soccer team from Saudi Arabia played a friendly against Portland’s MLS squad a bunch of anti-religious bigots chanted “f*** the Muslims.” What would happen next?
Or what if a basketball team from Harlem went to update New York to play against some Finger Lakes-area boys and the home crowd chanted “f*** Kwanzaa.” What would happen in every major city across the country?
There is not a single honest person who would imagine the outrageous outcome stemming such chants. Moreover, there is not a single honest person who could even fathom it happening. For whatever labels are attached and aspersions attached to conservatives, they simply don’t do this kind of thing.
Leftists, on the other hand, are exactly the kind of close-minded, bigoted, and self-righteous ingrates that would have no problem voicing their displeasure at anyone who doesn’t think precisely as they do. And that leads to atrocious moments like this (consider yourself warned about the vile language):

This story stands in stark contrast to the recent race hoax perpetrated by Duke volleyball player Rachel Richardson. During a late-August match, the black student-athlete fabricated claims she heard a BYU fan shouting the dreaded N-word. In the immediate aftermath, a fan, not even a student, was kicked out of the game, the white Mormon community was demonized, and virtue signaling black coaches like South Carolina’s Dawn Staley canceled their scheduled contests.
As was entirely predictable, the presumed race hoax was just that – a race hoax. Richardson was college volleyball’s Jussie Smollett or Bubba Wallace. Outkick was one of the few media outlets to report on the truth:
BYU conducted an investigation looking into allegations made by Duke volleyball player Rachel Richardson that fans hurled racial slurs at her during a match on August 26. The university’s investigation found no evidence to support Richardson’s allegations.
The university’s investigation included interviews with more than 50 eyewitnesses including players from both teams and athletic department staff. BYU also stated that it extensively reviewed video and audio from the match.
“From our extensive review, we have not found any evidence to corroborate the allegation that fans engaged in racial heckling or uttered racial slurs at the event,” BYU’s statement read in part. “As we stated earlier, we would not tolerate any conduct that would make a student-athlete feel unsafe. That is the reason for our immediate response and our thorough investigation.”
Richardson became a celebrity for her ability to hear a naughty word – a fake naughty word at that – while despicable Oregon fans are being cheered for practicing free speech in what some commenters are noting is common practice within the PAC-12. In other words, BYU’s team is allegedly subjected to this nonsense on every road game.
Not only will these ugly student actions result in no consequences for the offenders, but no attention will be paid to the hate crime nor will cities burn down. That tells us all we need to know about Mormons – and the other side.
