Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, famously known in leftist circles as AOC, is the shining example of everything that is wrong politically in America. She spends her time telling people what they should think and do rather than affecting any real policy, aside from the disastrous Green New Deal. How people like this get elected is beyond belief. She famously was seen vacationing in Florida, maskless when her own state was still masked and restricted, she was instrumental in making sure Amazon pulled out of New York City, depriving her own district jobs, and she refused money for her abuelas house repairs because Republicans raised it, all while tooling around in her new Tesla. She’s a real treat.
Recently she set her sights on Texas Governor Greg Abbott, giving some unneeded, unsolicited career advice. Check this out from the Washington Examiner:
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) responded to news reports that more than 100 illegal immigrants were bused from Texas to the vice president’s residence in Washington, D.C., telling Texas Gov. Greg Abbott he should “consider” retiring.

Good one, Alexandria! No, really, is that the best she has? I suppose bad legislation and hypocrisy aren’t her only strong suits! She’s not witty as well!
Why she thinks that she, just a Representative, is qualified to do anything other than mix a Manhattan is insane. Especially when it comes to a successful Governor like Greg Abbott.
Two busloads of immigrants were dropped off by a metro bus stop near Vice President Kamala Harris’s home in the Naval Observatory on Thursday after Abbott approved the move earlier this week. Ocasio-Cortez, whose state has also received several immigrant buses from Texas over the last few months, criticized Abbott for the move, pointing to it as evidence the Republican is “struggling” to run the state.
I wouldn’t call that “struggling”, I call that savage! Abbott is sharing the wealth like DeSantis is. If liberals want open borders, their sanctuary cities and gated communities can pitch in and help out. Fair is fair.
AOC is just salty that Abbott and other Republican governors are sticking it to coastal elites such as herself. If AOC is concerned about Chicago, New York, and DC being overwhelmed by a few illegal immigrants, imagine what every border town in Texas looks like. Sounds to me like Abbott is doing an excellent job.
I remember how folks stepped up to help Texans when you left them cold and hungry during the freeze,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted, referencing the power crisis in Texas in February 2021 caused by severe winter storms. “We will welcome these families too. They have so much to offer. You do seem to be struggling at your job, though. Maybe you should consider if this is the right work for you.”

What the brilliant AOC fails to mention is the fact that Texas had power issues during an unprecedented cold snap that left them vulnerable because of the unreliability and inefficiency of green energy in the state. The windmills and solar farms weren’t ready for sub-freezing temperatures. Good luck to the northeast when winter comes, and we are one hundred percent green.
Greg Abbott is doing very well in Texas, thanks anyway Alexandria. However, if the fine people of New York’s 14th congressional district ever decide to move on from you, maybe Abbott can offer you a job in Texas. I’m sure they need bartenders somewhere.
