Brian “the Potato” Stelter was fired from CNN recently. So was that hack that did his best to help lefties out in the 2016 debates and make GOP candidates look bad (that would be John Harwood). Don Lemon and Jim Acosta are rumored to be on the chopping block…looks like being a d*** to Kayleigh didn’t pay off for Acosta after all. Oh, and Zucker is out and CNN+ is canceled. Hilarious.
And the result of all those firings and shutdowns? CNN staffers are clutching their pearls and living in fear, constantly worried that there is a purge going on and their heads are on the chopping block. As the Daily Mail reports:
“One CNN journalist told the Post: ‘People are freaked out. It almost feels like there’s a pattern. Is there a purge going on?
‘They seem to be sending a message: “Watch what you say. Watch what you do.’”
Oh, and another CNN employee spoke out as well, saying “Longtime CNN personalities are disappearing, and the viewers don’t know why.”
LOL. Good one. Everyone knows why; those personalities are terrible at their jobs, are obviously biased despite pretending to be real news, and simply aren’t entertaining. Tucker might be biased as hell, but at least he’s good at what he does and highly entertaining to his audience. The same could hardly have been said of Brian Stelter, who looks like a potato and is somehow even less interesting than one.
Trending Politics News summed up the problem as faced by current, woke CNN employees quite well too, saying:
Since the takeover by the new chairman and CEO, Chris Licht, he has promised to ensure that the propagandist broadcast by the network will be put to an end. Licht is seemingly a man of his word as he immediately began by terminating the employment of several hosts who use airtime to broadcast extremely partisan information in favor of the left.
Since the network itself is far left, it is expected that many of its staff will also be leftist talents. The network now trying to rid itself of its finest partisan leftist talents has left staffers afraid of losing their jobs.
And the new CNN CEO, Chris Licht, isn’t assuaging their fears. Rather, he’s leaning into the changes, vowing to fire more of the wokies. Specifically, he said:
“I want to acknowledge that this is a time of significant change, and I know that many of you are unsettled. There will be more changes, and you might not understand it or like it.”
We’ll see who’s fired next. Given the sexual assault allegations, my money’s on Don Lemon. But we’ll see. It could be some even more viciously leftist yet lesser known DNC hack like John Harwood. Either way, it’s fun to watch and even more fun to see that the woke CNN employees are living in fear of their marginally less woke boss.
