Another MSM Hack Pushes the “Fascist” Line against Trump, Republicans

The delusional, far-left hacks in the Brandon Administration have been pushing (though, tellingly, not explaining) the senile president’s line that the MAGA Republicans are drifting toward “semi-fascism”, whatever that means. Does it mean only some corporatism and nationalism? Is he using “fascism” to just refer to bad things generally rather than the specific fusion of business, state, tradition, and nationalism that the Mussolini and Franco regimes represented?

Well, they won’t tell us, though Joy Reid recently repeated the slur and said that the January 6th “insurrection” and those phantom GOP attacks on police were fascism…which should seem like an odd description to anyone who has studied how fascist regimes usually behave. Here’s a hint: the Gestapo weren’t big fans of “defund the police/FBI” movements. Quite the opposite, in fact. Come to think of it, they’d generally be fans of raiding the home of the political opposition on shady premises…

In any case, now it’s not just the Biden regime and its friends on MSNBC that are yelling about how their freedom-loving enemies are “fascists”. Now Colbert has jumped on that bandwagon as well and is yelling about how Biden was wrong only in that he put “semi” before “fascism,” saying:

With all Joe’s momentum, or “moment-Joe,” he’s hitting the trail with a fall campaign message: “the Republicans who keep acting like fascists, are acting kind of like fascists.”

“He kicked it off at a fundraiser in Maryland, when he said, “it’s not just the ex-president. It’s the entire philosophy that underpins the— I’m going to say something— it’s like semi-fascism.” Some people think that’s the wrong thing to say. And I agree. Semi? It’s not like they tried to overthrow the election a lil’ bit. Last week, Biden emphasized the threat facing our democracy in a primetime address, delivered from, I want to say… Skeletor’s house?

Continuing, Colbert went on to slander and attack the commitment to rule of law of the judge who appointed a special master in the situation with the FBI and its raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence, saying:

“So, why is Judge Cannon going so far out on this very, very stupid legal limb? I don’t know, maybe because she was appointed by the former president, and confirmed just days after the presidential election in November 2020.

“So, she’s a brand new judge who was handpicked by the guy doing the crimes to preside over the jurisdiction that includes the place where he was committing the crimes. That’s like if the head ref at the super bowl was Tom Brady’s dad. “Pass interference: Defense. First down: my beautiful boy. So strong. So beautiful.”

We’ll see if she hits back with a libel suit for her imputing her motives and honesty, though it seems unlikely that our two-tier justice system would hold a leftie accountable for slandering a Republican, particularly given how Palin’s legal battle with the New York Times went.
