Prince Charles Says He’s ‘Bewildered’ by Harry and Meghan ‘Painful’ Attacks

Heartbroken Prince Charles says he is “bewildered” by his son’s continuous, “painful” attacks against his family.

The future King of England is spending time with his mother, Queen Elizabeth II at her Scotland estate, Balmoral. While the Queen would usually greet a new prime minister at a special meeting in Buckingham Palace in London, for the first time ever, the monarch will remain in Scotland as Liz Truss embarks on her first day as Britain’s leader. The new prime minister is set to travel to Scotland to meet the Queen tomorrow.

It comes after concerns about the aging monarch’s health, and the Queen, 96, has reportedly dramatically reduced her workload in recent months.

But his grandmother’s increasing fragility has not deterred Harry from relentlessly making jibes against his family and his wife, Meghan has repeatedly attacked the royals and insinuated that her time living in Britain was nothing short of hell on Earth.

Palace insiders have said that Harry’s grandmother has been stressed by the Sussex’s behavior and does not want to be on “tenderhooks” waiting for the “nuclear bomb”.

Many members of the royal family have visited the Queen in Balmoral over the course of the summer and while Harry and Meghan were invited and have traveled to the UK recently, they declined the offer.

According to reports, Prince Charles reached out to Harry, who is currently in London with Meghan, and asked him to spend time with him in Scotland, but again his son rejected his father’s olive branch.

Sources say Charles, 73, “loves and misses” Harry and his grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet, and is particularly wounded after he spent a brief period of time with them at the Queen’s jubilee in June.

“For two years, there has been a steady stream of really challenging things said about a man who cannot [publicly] defend himself by a couple he obviously loves and misses,” said a friend of Charles’.

“That is incredibly difficult on a personal level. He is completely bewildered by why his son, whom he loves deeply, feels this is the way to go about managing family relationships.”

According to insiders, he saw the short time they spent together over the summer as a “minor act of reparation” after Harry claimed that he felt “really let down” by his father on the Oprah Winfrey show in 2021.

In the same year, the spoilt Prince slammed Charles’ parenting and jibed that his father had treated him “the same way he was treated” with “genetic pain and suffering”.

But despite the brief reconciliation over the summer, Meghan continued the attack on Harry’s father in her podcast, Archetypes last month.

Almost gloating, the former actress said that Harry had “lost his dad” and continued to refer to her husband’s family, which she willingly married into, as “the firm”.

Harry and Meghan arrived in London over the weekend and are now staying in Windsor, just a few hundred meters away from Harry’s brother, Prince William, and his family although thus far, there has been no public reunion.

The royals are awaiting more toxic attacks as Meghan prepares to unleash the next series of her podcast and Harry awaits the release of his tell-all book.
