A youthful beauty model and TikTok influencer who had previously competed in the 2017 Miss Canada pageant and made it to the semi-finals of that competition tragically passed her while skydiving as it is believed that she deployed her parachute too late.
Tanya Pardazi, who is 21 years old and goes by the name “Philosatea” on TikTok, made her first skydive on Saturday with Skydive Toronto in Innisfil, which is located in the province of Ontario. During her time on TikTok, she amassed a following of 100,000 people. She had been attending the University of Toronto for her studies in philosophy.
Per the Skydive Toronto, the skydiver deployed a main parachute that rotated quickly at a low altitude. This prevented the reserve parachute from inflating properly because neither the time nor the altitude was sufficient.

After Pardazi’s passing, Skydive Toronto made a statement claiming the jumper was a recent addition to the skydiving world that was warmly received and that he will be mourned among the student’s new friends. Due to the fact that they have been honing their student training program for more than 50 years, the staff at Skydive Toronto Inc. has been tremendously impacted by this accident.
Melody Ozgoli, a longtime friend of Tanya’s, told CTV News Toronto that she remembers Tanya taking an interest in “everything that was new and daring.” She was always looking for new and exciting experiences because she found her everyday life to be too mundane.
Ozgoli remarked that “she really did live every second to the fullest” about her friend. Ozgoli asserted that Pardazi had authored a book, and he further stated that she was one in a billion and that she passed away like one in a billion.

Another one of Pardazi’s close friends referred to her as “one of the bravest girls,” adding, “Whenever we saw her, we knew we were in for an adventure because she didn’t like letting herself, or the people closest to her, get bored.” Pardazi didn’t like letting herself or the people closest to her get bored. Everyone who had the pleasure of her company regarded her in the highest regard.
Many of her admirers left comments saying things like, “Rest in peace, darling; the world will miss you.” “I literally cannot believe she’s gone. Even though we have never met, she has been a significant source of motivation for me. Rest in peace,” and “may you rest in peace, my friend. I’m sad that you had to be taken away from us so quickly. I hope that the afterlife is everything that you have imagined it to be and more, until the day that we meet again.”
