The 2021 Porsche 911 Carrera S used in Paul Pelosi’s DUI crash was listed on Copart.com with only 2,738 miles and a retail value of $168,576. Paul Pelosi’s 2021 Porsche Carrera, destroyed in a May DUI crash in California – to which he pleaded guilty – is showing up on an online auction site. The damage to the vehicle seen in the photos on the auction website is consistent with the damage sustained in the DUI collision. The vehicle was removed from the scene using a tow truck when Pelosi was arrested, per police reports.
According to the complaint, responding officers reported finding Pelosi in the driver’s seat of his Porsche with another driver involved standing in front of an SUV. In a Dashcam footage released by the California Highway Patrol, released on Tuesday, Paul Pelosi is shown muttering to an officer that he had a “glass of champagne before dinner” and also “a glass of white.” A DUI test revealed that Pelosi’s blood alcohol content was 0.082 percent, slightly exceeding the legal limit.
An officer confirmed seeing “pulling his wallet out of his pants pocket and reach into it.” Then he presented the officer with a California driver’s license and a card from the 11-99 Foundation. Founded in 2001, the 11-99 Foundation provides scholarships for children of California Highway Patrol officers and supports them in their work. “I inquired if the additional card was a work identification card, and he stated it was his ‘driver license,’” the officer indicated in his incident report, stated Fox News.
The prosecutors only identified the other driver as John Doe. Neither man sought medical treatment at the scene, but Doe told Napa County prosecutors on June 2 that he was experiencing pain in his upper right arm, right shoulder, and neck the following day. In photographs of Pelosi, bruises were seen on his hands and forearms, but police documents indicate that at least some of them were not caused by the accident.
Paul Pelosi pleaded guilty to DUI and received three years of probation. He would also have to serve five days in jail, but he would receive credit for four of those days and serve the other day as part of a court work program, a judge ruled. He is also required to have a certified ignition device mounted on his vehicle for one year. Paul Pelosi was also kicked out of a police group for trying to show his identification card in hopes to get out of trouble.
The identification number of Pelosi’s vehicle is redacted in police reports. A Carfax vehicle history report on the VIN of the car for sale is also missing the owner’s name. However, the Carfax report shows that the vehicle on sale sustained “frontal or side impact” damage on May 28 – the day of Pelosi’s accident – resulting in the deployment of airbags and requiring towing.
On its Carfax report, its most recent mileage record shows that it had only 18 miles on it when it was sold to its first owner in January 2021. According to the woman who answered the phone at the auction yard, the auctioned cars at Copart come from both insurance companies and private dealerships.
As if legal troubles weren’t enough, Paul Pelosi sold millions in stocks after being accused of inside trading because Nancy Pelosi is in politics and there was an important vote coming up that was related to Paul’s purchases.
