We have all made bad bets before, haven’t we? I mean, I am not a big gambling guy, but living in Kentucky where horse racing is so huge, I have been to the track a time or two. I have also been known to drop a few bucks on an extremely long shot.
Pretty much never pays off though.
Sometimes when you have a heavy underdog, despite how tempting it is, you should probably hold on to your money. The longshot rarely pays off.
California Governor Gavin Newsome is about to find out this truth the hard way.
Newsome, in a quest to ruin Florida just like he has California has pledged an obscene amount of money on the darkest of horses.

Oh Gavin. I hope you ran this donation past your people first! Wouldn’t 100k be better spent helping out the people living on the streets of Los Angeles?
Maybe it could be better spent on cleaning up the rotting core of San Francisco?
Nah, donate it to Charlie Crist and hope he pulls the most stunning upset since David slew Goliath.

It is not the first time Newsom has waded into political waters in Florida. The Democrat opted to use the Fourth of July weekend this year to urge Floridians to move to the Golden State after claiming that “freedom is under attack” in Florida — news to millions of Floridians.

Ron DeSantis is probably the most popular, powerful governor in the country.
Florida also has boomed during DeSantis term, gaining in population and economically growing like crazy.
Florida was one of the few free states during the pandemic lockdown scam that has so damaged our country. There is a reason Florida is booming, and he lives in the Governor’s mansion; a place Charlie Crist will never see, despite the long shot wager by Gavin Newsome.
California, despite its resources and natural beauty is a crumbling, lawless wasteland. Homelessness is rampant, kids are still being masked in some places, and you can bet if there’s another covid related issue California will be the first state to reenact draconian lockdowns.
Does this sound like something Floridians want?
I spend quite a bit of time in the Sunshine State, and I feel confident in saying Florida LOVES Ron DeSantis.
One hundred thousand bones from Gavin Newsome to Charlie Crist’s campaign isn’t going to move the needle politically in Florida.
In fact, Newsome would be best advised to focus on how to repair California before any more residents and businesses flee for greener pastures like Texas, Tennessee and Florida.
Charlie Crist is outmanned, Gavin Newsome is out of his lane, and Florida will survive this far left assault and continue to thrive under another term of heavy D!
