Finland’s party girl, Prime Minister, caught on film dancing and partying with a group of celebrity friends, denied taking drugs, and assured the public she has “nothing to hide or conceal”.
The video, which ended up on social media, showed glamorous Sanna Marin, 36, getting her freak on for the camera.
The group of young friends can be seen drinking clear liquid from tumblers as they jump around to loud dance music while looking down the camera lens.
At one point, Marin can be seen in a raunchy black vest top and white trousers, putting her hands behind her hair and gyrating to the beat.
One of the guests shouts, “damn, this is going to be a good feeling,” as another passes a drink past the camera.
A host of Finnish celebrities were attending the party, which appeared to be in an apartment. Finnish singer Alma and her sister Anna were there, along with acclaimed rapper Petri Nygard, TV host Tinni Wikistrom, influencers Janita Autio, and numerous members of parliament from the Social Democratic Party.
Many Finnish citizens have blasted Marin’s crude behavior and said that the leader should concentrate on running the country, particularly as Finland is entering a particularly uncertain period as it ends its historical neutrality and prepares to join NATO.
But, true to socialists in all corners of the Western world, the left has embraced the laid-back leader and her wild celebrity-style partying.

Earlier today, Marin arranged a press conference in which she defended her partying.
When asked if she had taken drugs, she responded: “I didn’t see any evidence that anything was used anywhere.”
Another reporter suggested that the world leader should be made to do a drug test. Marin responded:
“I haven’t used any drugs, so it’s not a problem to take a drug test, but I also think it’s quite special that something like this is required.
“I’ve nothing to conceal or hide,” she added.
“I have danced, sung, celebrated, done legal things.”
While partying and drinking heavily might be legal and a pastime enjoyed by many young people in Finland and beyond, when you are the leader of a country, you have a few more responsibilities than the average student down the local bar or a celebrity singer.
And this isn’t the first time Marin has faced criticism for her wild nights on the dance floor.
Just a few months ago, she was forced to apologize to the Finnish public after she was out clubbing until 4 am, missing a text message from her government informing her that one of her close colleagues had Covid and needed to isolate, as per her own rules.
Instead, Marin stayed in the nightclub with her husband and friends. She danced and drank beer until 4 am. Later, instead of apologizing, the young socialist seemed to misunderstand her own rules and said she did not need to self-isolate because she had been vaccinated.
The incident prompted many to question whether the party girl’s boozy nightlife might interfere with her ability to pick up her Prime Minister’s phone line in a national emergency.
Marin became one of the youngest world leaders and Finland’s youngest ever prime minister when she was elected at 34 in 2019.
Perhaps the Fins are now regretting that decision!
