WOW: Families Flee Blue Cities as Crime Ravages Even the Suburbs

Blue cities like Lori Lightfoot’s Chiraq just can’t catch a break and keep getting bad news and more bad news as Americas wake up to how absolutely horrible life is within those leftist-run hellholes and run from them as fast as possible, something that’s been a trend for a while but has only gotten worse thanks to the soft on crime policies of the left and the woke, Soros-backed prosectors that refuse to lock up criminals.

Speaking about all those fleeing from California, for example, Rep. Steve Scalise said:

And you know what, when you look what the Republicans’ party stands for freedom, equal opportunity, people are making their decision.

You know, million people last year left the state of New York and went to Florida, hundreds of thousands have left California to go to states like Texas. People are leaving totalitarian — these socialist, communist-run states to go to freedom-loving states, and people like these reporters at ‘The New York Times’ are threatened by it.

“Let’s get him a safe space. I am sure wearing three masks at his house by himself when he writes that article, and that’s his business. But it just tells you a lot about the impartiality of some of the people writing these articles.”

But while California is perhaps best known as the state people are fleeing from, with Elon Musk and Joe Rogan making the escape from the Bay Area more fashionable than ever, it’s not just that leftist hellhole that’s being hit hard by outmigration.

Recent Census Bureau data, for example, shows that the city of Portland, Oregon has been hit incredibly hard by having citizens flee it to get away from its woke policies, with the data showing over 10,000 have so far fled with the trend ramping up as the city gets worse and worse.

The homelessness situation has hit the city particularly hard, with real estate broker Lauren Iaquinta telling local news station KGW8 that “It’s neighborhood by neighborhood. You can be driving through North Portland and you’re in this lovely area where there’s no issues, and then you can make a turn around the corner and have homeless camps there. It’s kind of sad. I’ve been doing this for 10 years here in Portland and it’s changed quite a bit.

Going on, Iaquinta also said that “I would say the migration to the suburbs, I’ve seen quite a bit in the last two years… most people don’t want to have to worry about if they can leave their car parked in their driveway overnight without maybe having it broken into. It’s a pretty testy subject.

And, even outside of the homeless situation, it’s easy to see why. One Philadelphia resident, describing the constant echo of gunfire in that city, saidIt sounded like Beirut out here yesterday. And I’ve never been out to Beirut, but it sounded like Beirut out here yesterday.

So those who can are leaving those cities for free ones without crime. Makes sense.
