Huge victory for the MAGA movement yesterday as Liz Cheney lost the Wyoming Republican primary to Harriet Hageman by over 30 points!
Since January 6th, Cheney has been the forefront Republican critic of President Donald Trump and how he has reshaped the Republican party.
She collaborated extensively with the January 6th “show trial” investigation where Democrats have tried to continuously play up the “insurrection” narrative and prevent Trump from running again.
They are clearly failing at that, just like every other attempt to smear Trump, as research shows the January 6th hearings have a negligible impact on Trump’s standing, where the vast majority of Republicans think he should run again.
In her concession speech after her major loss, Cheney indicated in a bizarre manor that she would not give up.
She compared herself to Abraham Lincoln by stating, “The great original champion of our party, Abraham Lincoln, was defeated in elections for the Senate and the house before he won the most important election of all.” Cheney said, “Lincoln ultimately prevailed. He saved our union and he defined our obligation as Americans for all of history.”
The comparison to Lincoln suggested she may consider a presidential bid in 2024.
According to Fox News, “When asked if that includes running for president herself in 2024, Cheney said she was not ready to make that call just yet but said she will make that decision “in the coming months.”
You think she would have learned her lesson after being ousted from her House seat, but apparently, she hasn’t.
She further stated, “I will do whatever it takes to keep Donald Trump out of the Oval Office.”
With Trump-backed candidates winning primaries all across the nation, that seems unlikely Liz.
Republican voters don’t want to go back to the old days where stagnant conservative leaders did nothing for their constituents.
Red voters have been energized by Trump’s “Make America Great Again” movement that places an emphasis on putting America first.
It is a cause for the average American to believe in who was formerly left behind by the Republican party.
Trump has fundamentally shaken up the existing political order in this country.
Trump wants to change our trade regime, stop illegal immigration, roll back regulation, bring down the power of globalists, and the list goes on and on.
It is clear that the establishment politicians have been trying to stop Trump for these reasons since he won the election in 2016.
We have seen the Russia Collusion Hoax, claims that he hasn’t paid his taxes, accusations of collusion with Ukraine, and most recently the FBI raid on his home in Florida.
All any of that has never been about Trump committing a crime, it is about preventing him from holding the presidency again because they know he has enough support to win in 2024.
Liz Cheney is just a cog in the machine trying to stop the Make America Great Again movement and, as demonstrated in the Wyoming Republican primary, she is doomed to fail.
