A group of Christians has traveled from Texas to help deliver to those in dire need of furniture and cleaning supplies who were affected by Hurricane Ida. They stand on their faith strong, and are centered around 1 Peter 4:10-11 which reads:
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.”
In simpler terms, it means that we are to serve others to the best of our ability in the strength that God has provided us with so that He may be glorified through our actions, or simply being the hands and feet of God and doing His will, and that’s exactly what this group called Angels are doing.
The hope and help will arrive and begin on Friday, August 19 at 321 Events – Skye the Event Place at 11 a.m. Lachandra Morris, the owner, has worked intimately with the Texas charitable gathering to provide a large space for the help and giveaway for the community to run smoothly and efficiently.
