When the FBI raided Trump’s home in Mar-a-Lago, it didn’t just senselessly root through the former President’s files, crack open his safe, and snatch up boxes of documents to confiscate for whatever anti-Trump investigation they have going on.
Though all that seems to have happened during the banana republic-like raid, the FBI did something else, something even more horrific: it rooted through Melania Trump’s clothes, rifling through her outfits and underwear in what can be interpreted as nothing other than a gross attempt at humiliating the former president and his family.
News on that comes from Miranda Devine’s fabulous report on the raid in the New York Post, in which she reported that:
“FBI agents scoured Melania Trump’s wardrobe and spent several hours combing through Donald Trump’s private office, breaking open his safe and rifling through drawers when they raided the former First Family’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida Monday morning.
“[…]Once inside the air-conditioned, white marble-clad private quarters, agents fanned out to search every room, while shocked staff were instructed by Trump’s lawyers to unlock doors and provide the FBI access to every room, including the sumptuous Versailles Master Bedroom, renovated by Melania two years ago.”
What makes that utterly absurd, and shows that the rifling through Melania’s clothes part of the Stasi operation was nothing more than an attempt to humiliate and/or intimidate the former president and his family was that the warrant related to the seizing of documents.
What, did the FBI expect to find some incriminating, printed out text message taped to the bottom of one of the former first lady’s high heels or sewn inside one of her suptuous gowns? Of course not; that would be ridiculous. But they wanted to make their statement and did so, getting their grubby hands on Melania’s beautiful clothes and private warddrobe while alone and free from legal interference.
On that point, while the jackbooted thugs enforcing Team Brandon’s agenda were tearing through Trump’s residence and sniffing his wife’s drawers, Trump’s lawyers were forbidden to even enter the air conditioned lobby of the building, much less accompny the plain-clothes goons that were tossing apart his house for hours on end.
That led some working for the former president to express concern that the FBI could have planted evidence, as there were no pro-Trump lawyers there to accompany the FBI during its raid and ensure that nothing even more outside the norm than the raid itself was going on.
Such is what America has become under Biden, a banana republic where federal jackboots attempt to intimidate and humiliate the political opposition after being tossed a shred of legal authority to do so from some hack judge that is connected to both Democrats and pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Meanwhile, other than a few pledges of “investigations,” the GOP has done little, showing itself to be sufficiently cowed by the show of force from the jackboots.
