The Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris, deplored the fact that “women are getting pregnant every day in America,” pointing to the desire of lawmakers to codify Roe v. Wade. During her speech filled with such obvious logic, the vice president also referred to those who get pregnant as “women,” apparently contradicting the White House’s message that men can get pregnant too, referencing the bizarre war on pronouns sparked by far left liberals. The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment on this issue.

“Listen, women are getting pregnant every day in America, and this is a real issue and we need to act with a sense of haste about what is at play, what is at stake, and codifying Roe will be an important moment in terms of putting back in place protections for the folks who are at risk right now because of what the Court did in Dobbs just weeks ago,” Harris said.
The vice president announced this week that she was traveling to Indiana for meetings with abortion advocates “who are fighting on the front lines to protect reproductive rights” as the state legislature is gathering for a special session. Harris also met with Virginia lawmakers, promising that the Biden administration is “working closely with state and local leaders around the country on steps we can take” to provide abortion access in response to the decision of the Supreme Court.
“I convened more than 20 Virginia state legislators and advocates who are fighting on the frontlines to protect reproductive rights. Our Administration is working closely with state and local leaders around the country on steps we can take,” Kamala said in a tweet.
Meanwhile, Republican lawmakers have introduced several bills that would ban most abortions but would increase access to contraceptives.
The chairman of the Republican Party of Indiana, Kyle Hupfer, warned in a statement that “if there’s anything we’ve learned in the past 19 months, it’s that we certainly don’t need any of Washington, DC in Indiana.”
“Kamala Harris is not only extremely unpopular among Hoosiers, but extremely bad at her job, failing to tackle any of the issues she has been placed in charge of, including the crisis at the southern border which has made even Indiana a border state,” Hupfer said. “Her political stunt tomorrow marks a low point for the Indiana Democrat Party, which is just as unpopular as she is,” he continued.
Janet Morana, co-founder of the pro-life Silent No More Awareness Campaign, asked why abortion was the vice president’s fallback in the first place. “Our @VP says ‘women are getting pregnant every day in America and this is a real issue.’ And of course #abortion is the only solution to this ‘issue.’ Shouldn’t it be concerning that the party in power doesn’t want to let anyone out of the womb alive?” Morana tweeted.
A few commenters pointed out that she referred to pregnant women instead of “pregnant people,” despite the Biden administration’s efforts to be transgender-inclusive.
“What about all the men that are getting pregnant?” cracked one user.
