No Joe for Slow Joe: 16 Starbucks Locations, Including DC Stores Closing Thanks to Crime!

What might be the one good thing about the crime wave sweeping the country as soft on crime Democrats at every level of government, from local officials to Slow Joe at the peak of the national power hierarchy, empower criminals and downplay the societal costs of criminality?

Well, though pretty much every single thing stemming from that is bad, there is one good aspect: the fools and firebrands that voted those lunatics into office in the first place are finally having to figure out how to deal with those policies once they’re implemented.

Whether typical blue voters that are now having to “wake up and smell the roses,” except the roses are typically excrement left by homeless people or drugs smoked by other Democrat voters,  or massive corporations dealing with the reckoning of having funding the Democrats that are now turning the criminals loose, the city-dwelling Democrats are having to face the consequences of their policies.

A terrific example of that is Starbucks which, thanks to rampant criminality and continual drug use within its stores, is having to close up shop in 16 locations. Here’s what the New York Post reported about that:

Starbucks is shuttering 16 store locations nationwide after store managers reported a surge in drug use among customers and outsiders as well as an increase in crime in certain areas.

Six Starbucks locations will be closed in the company’s hometown of Seattle and six more will be shuttered in the Los Angeles metro area.

Two Starbucks restaurants will cease operating in Portland, Ore., while one store each will close in Philadelphia and Washington, DC, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Oh, and Starbucks is having to change its “open bathroom” policy, a policy created after it was accused of racism for kicking a non-customer out, because of the rampant drug use within the bathrooms that managers couldn’t kick the riffraff out of.

Starbucks CEO Schultz, commenting on that forced change in policy, said:

There is an issue of, just, safety in our stores, in terms of people coming in who use our stores as a public bathroom.

“We have to provide a safe environment for our people and our customers. The mental health crisis in the country is severe, acute and getting worse.

Critics of blue state crime policies, if turning criminals loose on the streets can even be called a crime policy, were quick to gloat, with former Trump press secretary Kayleigh McEnany rubbing it in the faces of Starbucks and the other enablers of the far left, saying:

“Businesses are leaving because of their naïveté. Until you fix the problem… with elected officials that happen to hail from the left and blue states, you’re not going to fix the problems on the streets.”

Turns out, leaving stores open to everyone, paying customer or not, in cities overrun with criminals isn’t the best of ideas. Who would have known?

Oh wait, everyone on the right and even some liberals that aren’t yet completely infected with the pro-criminal nonsense called it.

Well, at least the left is getting its just deserts and having to pay for the policies that its politicians wrought.
