The fact that most psychiatrists and psychologists have admitted to psychological problems should be a “Red flag” to gun owners everywhere. Laws that can revoke due process guaranteed in the constitution and turning over its enforcement to self-identified crazies is repugnant to the constitution.
This senate “Red flag” bill includes outrageous federal violations of individual and state rights by funding psych screening aimed at children. It is an obvious smoke screen to disarm Americans without due process. It is also an entree to use toxic women to disarm veterans, the elderly, and those labeled as MAGA, homophobes, misogynists, racists, Islamophobes, and more. Here is how I think it will go if passed. (You can insert “toxic woman/girlfriend, grandpa, neighbor, veteran, classmate or coworker” into the place for child and see the same result. Disarmament by hearsay and psychological manipulation.)
Psychologist: Do your parents have guns in the house?
Child: Yes
Psychologist: Do those guns seem scary to you?
Child: Yes
BOOM, your guns are gone because you have created an overwhelming sense of fear in your child. “Give us your guns if you want your child back.”
Psychologist: Does your daddy ever raise his voice at you or your mother?
Child: Yes
Psychologist: Does it frighten you when your parents raise their voices?
Child: Yes
BOOM, your guns are gone for frightening a child. Give us your guns if you want your child back.
Psychologist: Have your parents ever said anything about not liking black people? Foreigners? Illegal
immigration?
Child: Yes.

Psychologist: Do your parents ever say anything about queer or transgender people? Do they keep you
from watching the Disney channel?
Child: Yes
BOOM, your guns are gone because you are homophobic and transphobic, and you are transmitting

Psychologist: Do you go to church with your parents?
Child: Yes.
Psychologist: Does the minister speak against same-sex marriage, adultery, pornography?
Child: Yes.

Psychologist: Was your mommy or daddy ever in a war?
Child: Yes
Psychologist: Do they talk about it much?
Child: Yes
BOOM, your guns are gone because you have PTSD and are therefore mentally unstable. You are a
danger to your children and society. Give us your guns if you want your child back.
Psychologist: Have your parents criticized your teacher or what they are teaching you in school?
Child: Yes
BOOM, your guns are gone because you are a terrorist. You are a danger to your children and society.
Give us your guns if you want your child back.
Psychologist: Do you think you might ever want to own a gun?
Child: Yes
Psychologist: Why?
Child: To protect myself, my family and my country.
BOOM. This child will be “red flagged” as a potential terrorist, a threat, and put on a list of persons prohibited persons from owning a firearm.
Aside from being cunning, deviant, and lawless, Democrats (and some Republicans) are totally predictable. This is how they will disarm you.
