RINO Chris Wallace Sides with the Dems on Jan. 6th Hearing

Thank goodness Chris Wallace the stuck-up RINO is gone from Fox and stuck over at CNN, where few people listen and he can’t damage the MAGA movement by pretending to be a “conservative” critic of it, as Liz Cheney is doing.

That’s important because right now he’s acting exactly like a talking head version of Liz Cheney over at CNN, where he spent last night prattling on to his much-diminished audience about how great the January 6th hearings were, saying that the hearing was “very powerful, very well produced.”

Speaking on that during his show, Wallace said:

Well, we have seen videos before. I remember that the Impeachment House Managers put together a very powerful video before the second Senate trial, but this does not lose its capacity to shock and disgust you and to horrify you.

“The idea of this mob coming to the symbol as it was called, the citadel of our democracy, breaching the walls and going in attacking, talking about ‘hang Mike Pence,’ hunting for Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the House.”

There was also some, you look back at some of the things that were said, Bennie Thompson the Chairman this was a sprawling multi-step conspiracy to overturn the election and Donald Trump was at the center of the conspiracy. Liz Cheney said, ‘Those who invaded the Capitol were motivated by what Trump told them. Trump lit the fuse for the attack.’ It was a very powerful, very well produced, if you will, two-hour presentation.

Liz Cheney, for reference, accused Trump of lighting the fuse and of having some seven-part plan to take over the government and retain power, while Bennie Thompson, the other one mentioned by Wallace the RINO, also accused Trump of trying to take over the government and said:

But unlike in 1814, it was domestic enemies of the Constitution who stormed and occupied the Capitol… who sought to thwart the will of the people…to stop the transfer of power. And they did so at the encouragement of the President of the United States. The President of the United States. Trying to stop the transfer of power

So now, according to one of the top Democrats, MAGA protesters are “domestic enemies.”

Thompson even accused Trump of launching a coup, saying:

Donald Trump had his days in court to challenge the results. He was within his rights to seek those judgments. In the United States, law-abiding citizens have those tools for pursuing justice. He lost in the courts just as he did at the ballot box. And in this country, that’s the end of the line.

But for Donald Trump, that was only the beginning of what became a sprawling, multi-step conspiracy aimed at overturning the Presidential election… aimed at throwing out the votes of millions of Americans—your votes—your voice in our democracy—and replacing the will of the American people with his will to remain in power after his term ended. Donald Trump was at the center of that conspiracy.

And ultimately, Donald Trump—the President of the United States—spurred a mob of domestic enemies of the Constitution to march down the Capitol and subvert American democracy. Any legal jargon you hear about “seditious conspiracy” … “obstruction of an official proceeding” … “conspiracy to defraud the United States” boils down to this: January 6th was the culmination of an attempted coup. A brazen attempt, as one rioter put it shortly after January 6th, “to overthrow the Government.” The violence was no accident. It represented Trump’s last, most desperate chance to halt the transfer of power.

So that’s the sort of insane, conspiratorial drivel with which Wallace was siding. Good thing he’s over at CNN where no one listens and he can do less damage.
