BOOM: MTG BASHES RINO Lindsey Graham for Supporting Gun Control

Ever the RINO when remaining conservative in word and tone gets tough, fake Republican Lindsey Graham recently called for gun control and announced that he would support restrictions on the right to keep and bear arms on Twitter, saying:

I stand ready to vote on ALL the proposals mentioned by President Biden tonight and encourage the Democratic Leader to bring them forward for votes.

I also stand ready to work across the aisle to find common ground – something that was absent from President Biden’s address to the nation.

As a reminder, Biden, in his speech about gun control and what gun control proposals he wants turned into law by a Congress upset by the recent shootings, said:

We need to ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. And if we can’t ban assault weapons, then we should raise the age to purchase them from 18 to 21. Strengthen background checks. Enact safe storage laws and red-flag laws. Repeal the immunity that protects gun manufacturers from liability. Address the mental health crisis deepening the trauma of gun violence and as a consequence of that violence.

These are rational, commonsense measures. And here’s what it all means. It all means this: We should reinstate the assault weapons ban and high-capacity magazines that we passed in 1994 with bipartisan support in Congress and the support of law enforcement. Nine categories of semi-automatic weapons were included in that ban, like AK-47s and AR-15s.

Responding to Graham’s tweets in a thirty-minute video, Rep. Greene repeatedly bashed Linsey Graham, saying:

“He wants to make sure that your tax dollars are helping people in [redacted] to defend themselves, but he stands ready to vote for ‘ALL’ of Biden’s gun control bills. He’s ready to go.”

Continuing, after tearing into red flag laws and bashing Graham as wanting to vote with Biden to destroy America as we currently know it, Greene then said:

“This is everything wrong with Republicans in the Republican Party,” Greene fumed. “I’m calling out Senator Lindsey Graham, and I’m hoping every single one of you call his office and tell him he is breaking his promise. He said he would not violate due process rights, and he’s standing here ready to go ahead and do that. That is everything wrong with so many politicians here in Washington D.C.”

Fortunately, other Republicans have proven themselves to be made of sterner stuff than Lindsey the RINO. Rep. Scalise, for instance, demanded GOP members of the House of Reps vote against the gun control proposals being pushed by the left, as you can watch here:

Additionally, though Lindsey might be in favor of the gun control measures and other RINOs could presumably join him, it’s unlikely that ten GOP senators would, meaning that the proposals are likely pointless, as the GOP can just filibuster them to stop the Democrats from pushing gun control on the populace.

Still, Pelosi is trying to badger Republicans into voting for the proposals, saying:

“It is a message I send to elected officials all the time. You can’t vote for these bills because it is a problem for you politically? Understand this, your political survival is nothing compared to the survival of our children.”
