Cenk Uygur is the host of the Young Turks show, a far-left program that’s somehow managed to go even farther outside the Overton window and into the far fringes of leftism as of late.
Needless to say, Uygur wasn’t a fan of Rogan’s recent defense of the term “Uyghur” when he was speaking with Gad Saad.
But, while Uygur’s hatred of what Rogan said, useful as it is for the right and a very bad look for the pedo-apologist left, what he said in attacking Rogan was so far out of left field that it is worth noting.
That wild response came last Thursday on that day’s episode of The Young Turks. Discussing the Rogan issue, Uyghur rolled a video clip of Rogan saying, “The term ‘groomer,’ a lot of people don’t like that term online. They’re very upset. But they’re real. There are groomers.”
The clip also included Rogan’s later comments, where he noted that many of the groomers tend to be teachers and that a good number of gay or transgender individuals that are “groomers” try to get away with their creepy remarks by bringing up their sexuality, saying “how many of those people are out there? And how many of those people are doing it under the guise of ‘I’m an LGBTQ educator!’”
Well, Uygur lost his mind over those comments, going on a demented rant. Attacking Rogan for daring to say that kids shouldn’t be preyed upon by groomers, Uygur said:
“Do they, Joe? Do they? Show me one story where that happened. When a teacher masturbated in front of the class and they said ‘It’s ok, I’m LGBTQ’ and they weren’t fired! And they said ‘It’s ok, he’s LGBTQ!’ Show me one story, you f’ing liar! That never ever happened.
“By the way I know for a fact that the great majority of the pedophiles, whether they are in the schools or not and in the churches, are straight.”
“Are you really concerned about the kids or are you more concerned about smearing LGBTQ people and saying ‘Oh it’s gay people that are doing it!’ Even though it’s a god damn lie! You’re a hateful person and you’ve always hated the trans community. Now you spread your hate to more and you put out that poison every day. And now smearing all of them as groomers. You disgust me!”
And that wasn’t the end of it. Later in the show Uygur again lost his mind on the issue, falsely accusing Rogan himself of being a pedo by saying:
“Given that Joe Rogan seems to be purposely blaming people who didn’t do it, I wonder if he’s covering up for things he did?”
[…]“Maybe that’s why he’s blaming gay people in general, for things they didn’t ever do. I mean you probably have, maybe a guilty conscience. You probably want someone to look somewhere else. It really does make you wonder — is Joe Rogan a groomer? Has he done this to little children?”
But wait, there’s more! Uyghur then, a bit later in the show, went ever crazier and called on trans people that Rogan has slept with to let the show know, ridiculously claiming that Rogan’s groomer take stems from some past experience he’s had with transgender people:
“If you’re the trans person or several people that slept with Joe Rogan, can you let us know? Because it’s obvious that it’s personal for him. Hey Joe, you slept with a person like that — there’s nothing wrong with it, get over it. Get over it. Get over it, Joe!
“It’s super obvious that you’re super into trans people, and you’re taking it out — the hatred of yourself on them and you’re making their life dangerous!”
It’s like AOC’s “Republicans just want to date me” take, but even weirder and more deranged. Watch it here:

So that’s where the left is mentally right now. Doesn’t seem like they’re doing well.
