Disney’s Woes Continue, Silent Majority Keeps Teaching Woke House Of Mouse A Huge Lesson

How did Disney’s ridiculous foray into the culture war chaos go?

Not great. The company’s stock tanked, costing it billions of dollars, conservative consumers around the country cut the Disney cable and decided to keep the woke mouse out of their lives, and, perhaps worst of all, the Florida legislature voted to remove Disney’s special privileges.

And now the two bigwig fools most responsible for it are tossing a sacrificial lamb to the wolves in a shameless attempt to stave off total culture war-induced collapse for the company.

Those two fools are, of course, current CEO Bob Chapek and former CEO Bob Iger, both of whom led the company on its disastrous path to wokeness. Now, rather than own up to their failure, they’re lashing out at Disney’s Corporate Affairs head, Geoff Morrell.

He was just fired in a move that the company obviously hopes will help it keep the wolves at bay (it won’t), with the fools behind the disastrous decision to step into the transgender debate incorrectly assuming that the angered American will back off just because one foolish executive was fired.

LOL. That won’t work, particularly because the idiots behind the company’s woke turn still run the company…the authors of its demise are still there and as woke as ever.

But, fired he was, with the National Review reporting that former Corporate Affairs head Geoff Morrell, a former Pentagon spokesman who spent only three weeks in his high-flying position at Disney, was said in a terse Friday-afternoon corporate memo to be “leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.”

And by “other opportunities” they mean “taking the flak for Disney’s disastrous drift to wokeness”. Deadline reports:

“The hope at the highest level is that Morrell’s removal and the new reorganization will allow the media giant to come out from underneath the falling debris of the current situation.” And who caused that debris to fall? It wasn’t Morrell. It was Chapek and Iger. Chapek preposterously claimed to employees on March 11, “Speaking to you, reading your messages, and meeting with you have helped me better understand how painful our silence was. It is clear that this is not just an issue about a bill in Florida, but instead yet another challenge to basic human rights.” He continued: “You needed me to be a stronger ally in the fight for equal rights and I let you down. I am sorry.” Even more inflammatory was Iger on March 31: “A lot of these issues are not necessarily political. It’s about right and wrong. So, I happen to feel and I tweeted an opinion about the ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill in Florida. To me, it wasn’t about politics. It is about what is right and what is wrong, and that just seemed wrong. It seemed potentially harmful to kids.”

Disney should have just kept quiet on cultural issues and kept producing cute cartoons that are beloved by all Americans.

But, for whatever reason, it couldn’t do that. It and its corporate officers just felt the need to go berserk about the idea that teachers couldn’t talk about sex with kids.

So the Silent Majority responded in a big way, firing back at Disney with such force that it had to toss them a sacrificial offering in the vain hope of slaking their thirst for blood.

But that won’t work; we can see Disney for what it is now and are ready to keep teaching the woke mouse a lesson about what happens when you come for the kids.
