Elon’s Mom Defends Her Baby Boy Against Ridiculous NYT Hit Piece

It’s not just random, anonymous Twitter accounts that are standing up for Elon Musk and spreading the truth about him while hate-filled media outlets spew utter lies about him and what he’s up to. In fact, it’s not even just political figures that are doing so: his mom, Maye Musk, is doing so too!

The first example of that was when she fact-checked a claim about Elon at the Met Gala. In the tweet, an account pretending to be the New York Post (it has since changed its name). said that Elon tried to ask out a singer named Sky Ferreira by having his team ask her out.

Maye, firing back and defending her son and hitting back at the false claim, said “There was no team. I was with Elon. So, NO😠

But that was just the of the lies about her son that she bravely and unapologetically went after on Twitter.

In addition to the false date claim, she tore into a New York Times article titled “Elon Musk Left a South Africa That Was Rife With Misinformation and White Privilege” that bizarrely connected Elon to the apartheid government in South Africa, ridiculously implying that he had “white privilege” because he grew up in the apartheid state.

The Daily Mail, reporting on that incident and the ridiculous claims made by the New York TImes, said:

Maye Musk condemned the article, published on Thursday, that said her son was sheltered from the segregation and anti-black government propaganda that plagued South Africa throughout his childhood until he left at age 17.

In promoting the article on Twitter, the Times wrote: ‘Elon Musk grew up in elite white communities in South Africa, detached from apartheid’s atrocities and surrounded by anti-Black propaganda.

[…]While the article claimed that the cities fell victim to the government’s propaganda campaign, with newspapers arriving to readers with whole sections blacked-out, it ultimately suggested that the censorship seen in South Africa may have influenced Musk’s intense defense of free speech as he’s repeatedly voiced his opposition to how Twitter bans individuals.

Maye, standing up for free speech and against the Russian government’s invasion of its neighbor while at the same time hammering the lying New York Times for blaming Elon over the policies of a government he was unable to at all effect as a mere child, said:

‘In South Africa, if you publicly opposed apartheid, you went to jail. In Russia, if you publicly oppose the war, you go to jail. @nytimes, are you going to blame children for decisions made by governments?’

Maye also proudly tweeted out the excellent Dail Mail article on the fight:

Now Elon had better do something truly special for her for Mother’s Day, comment below how you think he should say “thank you” to his mom for so ferociously defending him on the flaming dumpster fire that is Twitter! Would breakfast in bed be enough, or does he need to go above and beyond even that?
