Well, it’s over… Discovery has pulled the plug on sinking/failing CNN+.
Wow. That was a pretty fast fall from grace, wouldn’t you say? Poor Chris Wallace must really be regretting his decision to leave Fox News right about now. Guess he’s never heard of that whole “you reap what you sow” thing.
just like that… Warner Bros. Discovery is shutting down @CNNplus — story coming shortly

Will Wallace make the move to CNN? Rumor was he wanted Cuomo’s former spot. But nobody knows what’s gonna happen… but word has it Discovery wants to turn Chris Cuomo’s time slot into a “live news” show, not anything opinion or interview-driven.
There’s a novel idea. A long, long time ago, that’s what the vast majority of CNN was. A place to get facts on the stories happening all across the country. Back when journalistic integrity was a real thing and reporters had standards, they tried to be as objective as possible, allowing the American people to make up their own minds on issues after presenting them with the facts.
The New York Times reported that Warner Bros. Discovery has decided to shut down CNN+, the ballyhooed streaming service that had been intended to bring CNN into the digital future, just weeks after its splashy debut, according to two people familiar with its plans.
The service is set to cease operations on April 30. Andrew Morse, CNN’s chief digital officer and a key architect of the streaming strategy, will step down, another person went on to say.
Chris Licht, the incoming president of CNN, called an all-hands meeting among CNN+ staffers for noon on Thursday to break the news to them. Boy, I bet there was a lot of weeping and gnashing of teeth during that little pow wow.
The shutdown comes just weeks after CNN+ was launched, with ambitious plans to spend heavily and expand fast. Under its former president, Jeff Zucker, CNN lured big stars to CNN+, including the former “Fox News Sunday” anchor Chris Wallace, the former NPR co-host Audie Cornish and the food writer Alison Roman.
It’s hard to believe that Chris Wallace left his well-respected, highly paid gig at Fox News, to become a turd in the CNN toilet bowl, and now, look what he has to show for it.
A show that didn’t even last for one month, on a cable news network that is the laughingstock of the world.
And if Chris has plans to grovel to get his old job back, he’s in trouble.
According to Megyn Kelly, Wallace always had the worst ratings of anyone over at Fox News, and nobody wants him back.
Looks like Wallace really screwed himself royally this time.
This is further proof that TDS is literally destroying lives all across this country.
