SNL Makes Sick Joke about Elon’s Twitter Offer [WATCH]

An African-American might be on the verge of buying Twitter and the left is, shockingly, not at all happy about that potential for African-American representation in the tech and social media space. Probably because that African-American is Elon Musk, who’s white.

So, the leftists are pulling out all the stops to try to stop him from buying the social media network and return it to the days of free speech.

Even Saturday Night Live jumped on board the “stop Elon” train, viciously attacking him in a recent segment and saying that the only reason Elon wants to buy Twitter is that “white guys want to use the n-word.” Saturday Night Live’s Michael Che said that, as you can watch here:

As you can hear in the video, Che said:

“That’s how badly white guys want to use the ‘N-word. “I don’t understand why Elon even wants to own Twitter. It used to be something that seemed important and even fun and now you look at it and it’s confusing and depressing. It’s the Giuliani of apps.”

At that point his cohost, Colin Jost, jumped in, saying:

Elon built electric cars, he’s going to Mars, why is he even involving himself with Twitter?“It would be like if the Prince of England gave it all up just to marry an actor from Suits. Plus, Twitter isn’t even that profitable anymore. It just feels like a bad business decision. And I say that as someone who bought a Staten Island Ferry with Pete.

Obviously, the point isn’t profit or economics. Elon doesn’t care how profitable Twitter is, he cares about defending free speech, as he said in a recent Ted Talk event. In his words:

“But this is not a sort of way to make money. I don’t care about the economics at all.”

Additionally, during that event, Elon said:

I think it’s very important for there to be an inclusive arena for free speech. Twitter has become kind of a de facto town square, so it’s really important that people have both the reality and the perception that they are able to speak freely within the bounds of the law.

Finally, emphasizing the importance of having a Twitter where free speech is protected, Elon said:

This is just my strong, intuitive sense that having a public platform that is maximally trusted and broadly inclusive is extremely important to the future of civilization.

So no, Elon isn’t buying Twitter because white guys want to say the n-word, SNL. That’s ridiculous and an obvious lie meant to discredit him in the eyes of those who still trust the regime and buy its talking points.

Rather, at great financial and personal cost to himself, Elon’s doing what our legislature doesn’t have the spine to do and is standing up for free speech on social media because he recognizes the importance of free speech to the future of our society and civilization.
