Brooklyn Beckham’s Star-Studded Wedding Will Be ‘Untraditional’ With These ‘Strict Rules’

It’s set to be a fittingly lavish and star-studded affair as Victoria and David Beckham’s eldest son prepares to marry his actress fiancé.

Brooklyn Beckham, 23 and Nicola Peltz, 27, are planning a wedding ceremony to remember this Wednesday.

Brooklyn, who decided not to follow in his father’s sporting footsteps and instead has dreams of coming a top-photographer and chef had hoped to marry his fiancé of two years earlier, but the ceremony was delayed due to Covid-19 restrictions.

From the time he was born, Brooklyn was in the public eye. With a former Spice Girl for a mother and a father who was probably one of the most iconic soccer stars of a generation, that’s hardly surprising.

As a new-born baby, Brooklyn attended his parent’s wedding, which naturally attracted worldwide press coverage, and now the oldest child in the Beckham clan plans to wow with his own ceremony.

The guest-list will feature some of the biggest names in show-biz and feels more like an Oscars after party than a wedding! Of course, mom’s former Spice Girls said to have been invited, despite notorious spats between the women in the past.

Long-term family friend Gordon Ramsey and his son Jack – who is one of Brooklyn’s best friends, are likely to make an appearance.

Actress Eva Longoria and Madonna’s son Rocco Ritchie have, according to The Mirror, also made it onto the guestlist.

Although Sir Elton John is Brooklyn’s godfather, the legendary piano-man will miss the ceremony due to conflicting tour dates.

Nicola Peltz, who is a star in her own right having bagged parts in the blockbuster movie Transformers and featured in the drama series Bates Motel chose not to have her fashion designer mother-in-law design her gown, but has instead reportedly chosen an Italian design which she has had measured and fitted in Rome.

But Victoria may still have some influence over the final design, and has reportedly sketched out some ideas of her own.

The ceremony, which will take place at Nicola’s billionaire father’s sprawling $103 million estate in Florida, will feature a mishmash of traditional features and unique quirks.

Brooklyn has reportedly chosen his two brothers, Romeo, 19 and Cruz, 16 to be his best men, but Nicola opted to break tradition and appointed her former ice hockey player brother brat to act as her “man of honor”. Brooklyn’s sister Harper will be a bridesmaid.

“The first time I went to Rome, I brought my mum and my brother Brad, who’s actually my man of honor”, said Nicola to CR Fashion Handbook.

It is really a beautiful thing to be a part of and it’s very exciting.”

A source told the Mirror that David Beckham will be Master of Ceremonies and will give a short speech.

But guests will also have to abide by some rather strict and unusual rules.

Taking photographs and using social media is completely banned at any time during the day. The Mirror reports that Vogue magazine has obtained exclusive photographic rights.

The ceremony will also feature many Jewish rules and tradition:

“I’m wearing a yarmulke,” said Brooklyn, as Nicola confirmed, “Yes, Jewish wedding!”.
