“It’s Not Incompetence…”: Poso Makes Shocking Claim about Why Gas Prices Keep Rising

Gas prices have risen precipitously in the past few months. Between unrest abroad, terrible energy policies coming out of the White House, and a general resistance to funding new drilling projects, at least in America, the demand for fuel that has roared back since Covid hasn’t been matched by a resulting increase in supply.

Despite that, the Biden White House has been shockingly hesitant to encourage new drilling operations or otherwise stimulate fossil fuel production.

In fact, when asked by Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy in a recent press conference what was being done to lower the price of fuel and if the Keystone Pipeline permit would be regranted so that that massive project could proceed, Psaki fired back that it was a “pipeline, not an oil field” and that the best thing to do isn’t to focus on lowering the price of fuel but to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels. In her words:

But if we’re looking to the future and what — how — what we can do to prevent this from being a challenge in future crises, the best thing we can do is reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and foreign oil, because that will help us have a reliable source of energy so that we’re not worried about gas prices going up because of the whims of a foreign dictator.

That’s eerily reminiscent of Pete Buttigieg’s post-paternity leave claim that all those Americans frustrated by rising fuel costs should, rather than demand the administration encourage fossil fuel production and thus lower the cost, instead buy an electric car. As he put it:

Clean transportation can bring significant cost savings for the American people as well. Last month, we announced a $5 billion investment to build a nationwide electric vehicle charging network for the people from rural to suburban to urban communities can all benefit from the gas savings of driving an EV.”

Because if $4 gas is too expensive, you should shell out tens of thousands of dollars to buy a Tesla. Makes total sense.

That’s the same Team Biden bozo that claimed the Keystone XL pipeline project won’t be restarted because it’s a “permanent solution.” Apparently, that’s a bad thing now. In his words:

“Look, the president has said that all options are on the table. But we also need to make sure that we are not galloping after permanent solutions to immediate short term problems, where more strategic and tactical actions in the short term that can make a difference, like what you have with the strategic reserve, which exists partly in order to respond to situations like this.”

He’s absurd; “chest-feeding,” or whatever he was doing on “paternity leave”, must have really taken it out of him.

All that is to say that this administration has shown a remarkable reluctance to stimulate fossil fuel production and thus increase the supply of oil and decrease the cost of fuel for the average American. Why is that?

Well, according to Jack Posobiec (and this claim should be taken as his opinion, not a fact), they are okay with the price of oil being high because they want it to be high. As he put it on Twitter, “It’s not incompetence It’s intent

He emphasized that later, saying:

You still don’t get it. They want your gas going up. You’re being played.

He knows exactly what he’s doing.

A shocking claim to be sure. Do you agree with him? Let us know in the comments below!
