Ilhan Omar’s Opponent Just Hit Her with a Brilliant Ad

Ilhan Omar might be one of the most radical people in the House. Now, she’s facing a 2022 challenger that might just have a shot of taking her on.

Check out this awesome ad that her challenger, Shukri Abdirahman, posted. It’s epic.

Louder with Crowder, reporting on the awesome ad and Omar’s challenger, had this to say:

Shukri Abdirahman is running against Rep. Ilhan Omar in 2022. Like Omar, she’s a woman and a Somalian refugee who came to America for a better life. Unlike Omar, Shukri doesn’t hate America. Here’s her first ad introducing herself to the electorate. Other Republican/conservative districts need to take notes. This is how it’s done.

Crowder is right: Ilhan is an America-hating radical whose very ideas are antithetical to the American spirit.

For one, she’s on the far left economically, joining such luminaries as AOC and Cori Bush in being far enough left in the House to balance out Bernie Sanders the socialist in the Senate.

Brad Polumbo, giving an example of that radical economic thought in the Washington Examiner, saying:

Today is a day that ends in ‘y.’ So, naturally, Rep. Ilhan Omar wants to spend billions more in taxpayer money. The far-left Minnesota Democrat’s latest socialist scheme is a quasi-universal basic income program. She just introduced legislation that would pave the way for the first national “UBI” program in the United States.

Then there’s her stance on cultural issues which are even more radical, verging on the very line, or perhaps a good bit past the line, of what’s acceptable in America. Sebastian Gorka, describing her in 2019, said:

Whatever Omar’s political ambitions, she has a long history of bizarre and radical behavior. First, she has exhibited a staggering level of anti-Semitism, even by Democratic standards. In 2012, she infamously tweeted out a grotesque statement about how Israel had “hypnotized the world.” As we’ve written about previously, claiming that Jewish people hold an undue, “hypnotic” influence over the world is a common anti-Semitic trope that has been perpetuated over the centuries by hateful people. Not satisfied with her initial excursion into anti-Semitism, Ilhan Omar then disseminated a tweet after she became a member of the United States House of Representatives, accusing Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) of having been put under “their [Israel’s] spell.”

Then there’s the issue of whether or not she married her brother to make it into the US, a claim that’s unproven yet has followed her around for years. Snopes has a surprisingly good report on all the different claims and sources making them here.

Regardless of whether the brother think is real or not, what’s clear is that Ilhan Omar is a radical, both socially and economically.

Let’s hope the ad is effective and Ilhan Omar’s challenger can take her down; in these dark days, in these dark times, America can’t handle having politicians that hate it in office. It needs patriots, and Omar isn’t one. It’s well, well past time for her to go.
