Hillary is having a rough time of it after Special Counsel Durham released his bombshell report that she and her minions spied on President Donald Trump by bugging Trump Tower, the Executive Office of the President, and other locations both during his campaign and after he was president.
Numerous members, indeed nearly the entirety of the GOP are blasting her for espionage, a capital crime, and even many Democrats that are sick of the Clinton family’s corruption are taking her to task and demanding an investigation into her criminality.
However, she has managed to stay out of the public spotlight during the PR nightmare, hiding and staying away from reporters rather than confronting the allegations head-on.
Until now, that is. Appearing at the Sheraton Hotel in Times Square for a speech at the New York State Democrat Party Convention, Hillary was seen and viciously mocked and humiliated by a crowd of furious Americans as she made her way into the building, with many chanting “lock her up.” Some also shouted anti-vaccine mandate slogans while another protester was spotted with a “Watergate 2.0” poster. It’s just one video, but it shows how the public feels about Clinton and this recent scandal. Whereas Bill was generally disliked despite not being able to keep his pants zipped, at least among the moderate crowd, Hillary isn’t. The wicked witch is instead despised, with many wanting to see her not only out of politics, but in jail.
And jail would, if Durham’s allegations are true, be the “soft” punishment for what she’s accused of. Espionage is a capital crime (meaning it can carry the death penalty), as Trump noted in his statement on the matter:
“The latest pleading from Special Counsel Robert Durham provides indisputable evidence that my campaign and presidency were spied on by operatives paid by the Hillary Clinton Campaign in an effort to develop a completely fabricated connection to Russia.
This is a scandal far greater in scope and magnitude than Watergate and those who were involved in and knew about this spying operation should be subject to criminal prosecution. In a stronger period of time in our country, this crime would have been punishable by death. In addition, reparations should be paid to those in our country who have been damaged by this.”
So yeah, prison would be the merciful punishment.
Hillary, however, hasn’t even bothered to defend herself on the subject, instead trusting (or hoping) that her former lackeys in the media will protect her. As the Daily Mail reports:
Hillary Clinton refused to answer questions about allegations that her allies spied on the Trump campaign as the controversy continued to engulf her Tuesday.
Clinton continued to stonewall questions later the same day as she and Chelsea emerged from a Filipino restaurant in Queens after approximately three hours during which they appeared to be filming.
Head down and blanking all enquiries mother and daughter headed back into the city flanked by their Secret Service detail.
Exclusive pictures and video obtained by DailyMail.com show a stoney faced Clinton silently waving away repeated questions of whether she spied on Donald Trump.
She doesn’t, however, appear to be doing well. As the Daily Mail put it a few lines later, “she looked strained behind her black face mask as she stoically ran the gauntlet of questions.”
Judgment is (hopefully) coming for Hillary. America wants it and she sure deserves it.
