Watch: Tucker Goes After “Little Fascist” Jen Psaki For Her Latest Plot Against Joe Rogan

Jen Psaki recently went after Joe Rogan, demanding that Spotify start censoring him to protect against “misinformation.” In her words:

Our hope is that all major tech platforms — and all major news sources for that matter — be responsible and be vigilant to ensure the American people have access to accurate information on something as significant as COVID-19. That certainly includes Spotify.”

Thing is, she can’t do that because of the 1st Amendment. As I wrote in a recent article for the Liberty Leader:

Yes, there are situations where the government has the right to limit some forms of speech and encourage companies to do the same. Take child pornography for example. Only the most insane of the libertarians would tell you that such degenerate “speech” should be left uncensored and legal, with pedophiles and child abusers profiting from such horrific content. Similarly, there are good, Constitutional arguments to be made that pornography of any sort should be kept out of the public square and that treasonous statements and actions aren’t protected speech.

But the sharing of opinions on a major political issue, that’s constitutionally protected speech. Even if Rogan and his claims are wrong, they’re still protected, as only by hearing and debating all viewpoints on such issues can we reach the correct conclusion.

So, the public square must be left open to such conversations. From Twitter to Spotify, Facebook to YouTube, all those modern, digital public squares are areas where protected speech must be protected, not censored under the guise of fighting “misinformation.”

Psaki obviously either doesn’t get that or doesn’t care (it’s hard to know because her ignorance and vapidity surely match her predilection toward tyranny). So, she’ll just ignore the 1st Amendment and attack Rogan, demanding that the podcast and music streaming service crack down on one of its top perfomers.

While many have sat silently, hoping the problem just goes away, Tucker Carlson jumped in with both feet to attack Psaki for her demand, saying:

“There’s more that can be done? Hey, you little fascist, that’s a threat. That’s exactly what it is. Politicians and their spokeschicks didn’t used to talk this way. They were not allowed to talk this way because the First Amendment explicitly prohibits it.

You’re not allowed to use government power to shut down broadcasters who criticize you, period. And now that’s exactly what they’re trying to do.”

Watch him here:

Tucker is right. Politicians can’t attack free speech like that, making threats and demanding that companies comply with their unconstitutional wishes. Not only is doing so wrong, but it’s illegal.

Psaki likely doesn’t care; she obviously doesn’t care what Tucker has to say. But the rest of us do; real Americans care about the Constitution and are furious that it’s under attack. Free speech and Joe Rogan are both very popular. Jen should think carefully before she starts attacking them with such vigor; she and her boss are both already quite disliked.
