Not Again: McConnell to Run for Senate GOP Leader Again After 2022 Midterms

According to a reporter on Twitter, longtime Senate RINO Mitch McConnel is planning on, after the 2022 midterms, running for the Republican Senate leadership position yet again. Specifically, he supposedly said, “I’m going to be running again for Leader later this year.” There’s good news and bad news in that.

The good news is that McConnel is confident that the Republicans will take back the Senate in 2022. Why would he be planning on running for a leadership position if he didn’t think the GOP was going to recover its seats in 2022?

So, regardless of if Mitch the RINO is running or not, the subtle message in his announcement is that Mitch, who, whatever his other faults, is an experienced politician, sees a massive red wave sweeping through the Swamp in 2022. Though there’s still lots Brandon will be able to do, at least he’ll be hamstrung somewhat.

McConnell was first elected as Senate leader in 2006 and then remained in charge for eight successive terms, “serving” America and the GOP for a long, long series of years.

That leads to the bad news, which is that if “Cocaine Mitch”  steps into the Senate’s #1 position again, all Americans can look for is more of the same. There won’t be any grand campaign against the wokies, radical but much-needed policies to take on Big Tech, or any of the other big steps that America needs and conservatives, especially the ones who will be behind the red wave, want.

Breitbart, reporting on the Turtle’s statement that he’ll be running again, added a laundry list of his “accomplishments.” In its words:

Under his tenure, the national debt has grown nearly 20 billion, illegal immigration has continued, and real wages for American workers have not risen since the 1970s.

Obamacare was enacted in 2010. Big banks were bailed out in 2008, and social media companies have silenced individuals without repercussions.

[…]McConnell is also married to Elaine Chao, who has been accused of profiting from her family ties to communist China’s shipping industry.

In October, McConnell caved to Democrats’ demands and raised the debt ceiling, enabling Democrats to forward President Biden’s “Build Back Better” agenda.

Furthermore, it’s not just Breitbart that sees McConnell’s many flaws. President Trump, furious when McConnell backed down yet again to the left, said:

Mitch McConnell has given away the Unfrastructure Bill and will soon be giving away the Build Back Worse Bill, which will change the very fabric of our society. This was all made possible by the two-month extension he gave the Democrats, the separation of the two Bills, and, most importantly, his lack of courage in playing the Debt Ceiling Card. He has grabbed defeat from the jaws of victory! How this guy can stay as Leader is beyond comprehension—this is coming not only from me, but from virtually everyone in the Republican Party. He is a disaster and should be replaced as “Leader” ASAP!

Similarly, Marjorie Taylor Greene, a conservative firebrand in the House, was furious about the debt ceiling increase and called him “Biden’s b***h,” saying:

“The House of Representatives is voting after midnight tonight because Leader McConnell allowed Democrats to bi-pass the filibuster and ram through the debt ceiling increase to $31.5 trillion.”

So, the RINO that has backed down to the left again and again, giving us trillions in new national debt dollars, Obamacare, the bills Brandon wanted, and much more. Under Trump, all he gave the right was a corporate tax cut and a few “conservative” judges that haven’t ruled our way.

If conservatives want to start winning the culture war, then need to look beyond McConnell the RINO and find a real conservative to run the Senate.
