Brandon Hides Terrorism Ties of Afghans Brought to the US

During our ignominious rout from Afghanistan, Team Biden shuttled back about 75,000 Afghans, claiming they were “US allies” and that we couldn’t abandon them.

However, as many weren’t screened or checked to ensure that they weren’t terrorists or criminals, quite a few “bad hombres,” as former President Trump might say, were flown to the United States.

That first became obvious as the evacuation was ongoing, when an Afghan “refugee” brought to Fort McCoy, Wisconsin raped two young boys. Then, another refugee brought to the same base was arrested for strangling his wife. Quite a nice bunch Brandon brought to America.

In any case, it’s not just criminals that Brandon brought back and it’s not just that he’s ignoring the problem. Rather, many have ties to terrorist organizations and Brandon is doing his best to hide that fact.

That’s according to Breitbart, which reported thatSen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) sent a letter to top Biden officials asking that the administration share the number of Afghans with ties to terrorism, the Taliban, the Islamic State (ISIS), and Al Queda who have sought entry to the U.S.

At that time, Team Brandon refused to respond to Sen. Grassley, and instead tried to conceal that some of those brought to America by Brandon had ties to terrorist groups like the Taliban.

That was back in September. Since then, Team Brandon still has not responded, nor has it seemed to take the terrorism threat seriously.

Rather, the administration has admitted that it hasn’t vetted everyone coming into the US from Afghanistan, with Mayorkas admitting that “We are not conducting in-person, refugee interviews of 100 percent [of] individuals,” but has refused to provide information on just how many are being screened.

As a result, a number of Republican Senators are stepping up to the plate and demanding information. Ron Johnson (R-WI), Josh Hawley (R-MO), and Rick Scott (R-FL) wrote a letter to Majorkas on December 16th, demanding information into who was being vetted. They wrote:

It is beyond unacceptable that several months after President Biden’s disastrous and deadly withdrawal we still do not have a full account of all the Americans who are still trapped in Afghanistan or a full account of the Afghans who were evacuated to the U.S. I urge you to immediately address the lack of transparency regarding this evacuation and resettlement operation and be straightforward with the American people.

The Senators went on to ask for more information on who was being resettled in America, why certain individuals were being resettled, and for more information on the backgrounds of those individuals.

The letter likely won’t be enough, as Team Brandon has done what it wants so far and will likely keep doing the same, but at least the Senators are shining light on the issue and demanding more information into who Biden is letting into our nation.
