First there was one. Then there were eight. Now there are ten. Let’s Go Brandon-themed stores, that is.
News of the first Let’s Go Brandon store broke about a month ago, when the first store opened in Massachusetts and drew the laughs and applause of many online.
Since then, the owner has expanded the number of Let’s Go Brandon stores tenfold, filling New England with stores making fun of Brandon as Brandon’s poll numbers drop like a rock.
Speaking to Fox News, owner Keith Lambert said that he’s increasing the number of stores to keep up with demand, demand that has been buoyed by Biden’s unpopularity and the ubiquity of the “Let’s Go Brandon” chant. People are fed up with Brandon and excited to go to a store where they can show their displeasure.
In his words:
“A customer came into one of our locations [Tuesday] and bought a Let’s Go Brandon sticker and went out to his car and stuck it over his Biden sticker. And that was it, he was just like, ‘I’m done with this guy.’”
He then added:
“People have buyer’s remorse. Business is very, very good right now.”
And with Brandon remaining a disaster, how could business not be booming?
Lambert’s stores, initially named “New England for Trump,” now span New England, providing goods for the massive number of customers that want to express their displeasure with Team Brandon.
However, while Lambert is minting money on Brandon’s unpopularity, the reception hasn’t been entirely positive. As Fox reports:
Lambert said the community reception of his stores has been largely positive but not completely without controversy. He said some critics have lashed out with negative online reviews and that every once in a while they’ll get an email or phone call “with the stupid stuff that they say.”
Most recently, he said he received a letter in the mail wishing death on him and his family.
But, still, the stores are likely far more popular than Brandon is, given his rock-bottom approval rating.
