In an apparent 360 degree turn around on Monday, “cognitive challenged” Joe Biden admitted “there’s no federal solution” to ending COVID-19.
In a rare moment of lucidity (or more likely finally telling the truth), Biden candidly told GOP governors he agreed with them that federal mandates don’t work, and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to ending the pandemic. Despite the fact that’s exactly what has been going on for almost a year under the Biden administration.
The stunning “about face” comment was made after Arkansas Republican Governor Asa Hutchinson, who is the chair of the National Governors Association, warned Biden not to continue stepping on the toes of state governors attempting to deal with the virus based on their states individual circumstance.
“One word of concern or encouragement for your team is that as you look towards federal solutions that will help alleviate the challenge, make sure that we do not let federal solutions stand in the way of state solutions,” Hutchinson said. “The production of 500 million rapid tests that will be distributed by the federal government is great, but obviously that dries up the supply chain for the solutions that we might offer as governor.
Biden responded, “There is no federal solution. This gets solved at the state level.
“I’m looking at New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu on the board here. He talks about that a lot. And it ultimately gets down to where the rubber meets the road and that’s where the patient is in need of help, or preventing the need for help.”
“This is not like March of 2020, the beginning of the pandemic. We’re prepared and we know what it takes to save lives, protect people and keep schools and businesses open,” Biden added. “My message to the governors is simple. If you need something, say something.
Unfortunately, Biden’s words ring hollow as usual. The president has consistently used draconian measures against American citizens attempting to live their lives. He even pitted citizen against citizen, condemning those individuals who refuse to be vaccinated as “unpatriotic” and purposely ignoring those who have contracted the virus and now have natural immunity.

Biden has even used the Department of Education to open civil rights investigations against several states that refuse to comply with federal mask mandates targeting schools. Biden’s federal mask overreach also extends to airports, airplanes, healthcare facilities, and private businesses with more than 100 employees.
Monday’s public statement by Biden simply illustrates just how truly disingenuous he is. According to mental health professionals, the mandates have created a mental health crisis among school aged students across the nation.
On Sunday, CBS News correspondent Jan Crawford appeared on Face the Nation, and virtually tore into Biden’s mandate. Blasting his crushing policies that have contributed to mental health issues and an increase in the suicide rate among teens due to school closures.
“My kids hear me rant about this everyday, so I may as well tell you guys. It’s the crushing impact that our COVID policies have had on young kids and children, by far the least serious risk for serious illness,” Crawford said after host Margaret Brennan asked what she thought was the most underreported news story throughout 2021. “They have suffered and sacrificed the most, especially kids in underrepresented, at-risk communities. And now we have the surgeon general saying there’s a mental health crisis among our kids. The risk of suicide attempts among girls now up 51% this year. Black kids nearly twice as likely as white kids to die by suicide.”
