Biden Considering 1 WK Quarantine For Inbound Intl. Travelers, But No Testing For Illegals Crossing Border

Once again the Biden administration is about to roll out some draconian policies, and this time they have partnered them with hypocrisy to the core.

After 10 months of confusing, and failing attempts to deal with COVID-19 and its variants, sleepy Joe is now considering enhanced mandatory testing for all inbound international travelers to the U.S., including citizens.

What is shocking to many is the quarantine would apply to even those who test negative upon arrival but would not to illegal aliens crossing the U.S. Southern border, including those from Africa.

Dr. Fauci called for testing of everyone coming into the country within 24 hours of their entry — except illegal aliens.

Yes, with only one documented case in the U.S., and with the administration not requiring testing of illegal aliens streaming across the U.S. Southern border, these policies are sure to mess up the plans for the tens of thousands of travelers.

According to the Washington Post

As part of an enhanced winter covid strategy Biden is expected to announce Thursday, U.S. officials would require everyone entering the country to be tested one day before boarding flights, regardless of their vaccination status or country of departure. Administration officials are also considering a requirement that all travelers get retested within three to five days of arrival.

In addition, they are debating a controversial proposal to require all travelers, including U.S. citizens, to self-quarantine for seven days, even if their test results are negative. Those who flout the requirements might be subject to fines and penalties, the first time such penalties would be linked to testing and quarantine measures for travelers in the United States.

Currently, the United States requires pre-departure coronavirus testing for both unvaccinated and vaccinated air travelers to the country. For those who show proof of full vaccination, that test must be conducted no more than three days before the flight’s departure.

For someone who cannot show such proof, the test must be done no more than one day before departure. The new policy would require everyone to be tested one day before departure.

Fox News White House reporter Peter Doocy raised several questions on Hannity about the new travel restrictions.

Journalist Glenn Greenwald went off on the idea of a quarantine period for those who tested negative, even raising the possibility of civil disobedience as a response to the government overreach:
